Bob Miller receives lifetime achievement award from Ohio Realtors

Bob Miller, a member of Columbus REALTORS, has been awarded the Ohio REALTORS 2025 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award. The recognition was presented during the Ohio REALTORS Convention, which took place from September 15 to 17 in Cleveland.

The Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award is given to Past Presidents of Ohio REALTORS who continue to serve the organization with distinction. The award honors Vincent T. Aveni, who led the association as President in 1980 and for whom the award was named after his death in 2006.

The selection for this honor is made by the Ohio REALTORS Past Presidents Committee. It recognizes a Past President who upholds values and dedication similar to those demonstrated by Aveni throughout his career. Bob Miller previously served as President of Ohio REALTORS in 2012.

Miller has been an Ohio REALTORS Director since 2003 and has participated on various task forces and committees, including Legislative Steering, Legal Action, Political Activity & RPAC Fundraising, Convention, Executive, and Finance.

At the national level, Miller was a Director from 2010-2012 and again from 2013-2016. He contributed to several committees such as Land Use Property Rights & Environment; State & Local Issues Policy; REALTOR Party Trustees for Campaign Services; Public Policy Coordinating; Leading Edge Advisory Board; Smart Growth Advisory Board; Conventional Finance & Lending; and Federal Housing Policy.

He has also been recognized for his support of industry advocacy efforts. Miller is a member of both the Ohio RPAC Hall of Fame and NAR RPAC Hall of Fame. Since 2023 he has contributed at the Crystal R level to RPAC after years at the Sterling R designation beginning in 2003.

In addition to his professional activities, Miller has held leadership roles within local organizations such as the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Dublin Foundation, Shawnee Hills Chamber of Commerce, Central Ohio Chapter of The Arthritis Foundation, and served as an Appraiser for Franklin County Probate Court.

“Bob has been a fixture in our industry, playing an important role at every level of the REALTOR organization,” said Ohio REALTORS President Michelle Billings. “We are grateful for the many contributions he has selflessly made, and we are stronger because of him.”
