The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) mandates that its members complete ethics training every three years. The requirement specifies a minimum of two hours and 30 minutes of instructional time, aligning with established learning objectives and criteria.

REALTORS have the option to fulfill this requirement through NAR's online courses or other methods, such as online or classroom courses offered by local or state associations. All members must meet the Code of Ethics training requirement by December 31, 2024.

Garry Moon, Ohio REALTORS Director of Professional Development & Partnerships, emphasized the importance of checking one's status to ensure compliance. Information on completing NAR’s complimentary online Ethics course is available for those interested.

For those needing a course that satisfies both the NAR Ethics and Ohio Canon of Ethics requirements, registration options are provided.
