On October 8, 2025, Williams posted a comparison between the two major political parties. He stated, "Lets contrast the two political parties: Democrats are keeping the government shut down. President Trump is achieving historic peace agreements in the Middle East."

The following day, October 9, 2025, Williams addressed the local impact of the government shutdown on travel in Ohio. He wrote, "The Democrat shutdown is causing flights to be delayed at the airport in Columbus. Air traffic controllers and TSA agents are also currently working without pay. If Ohioans have a painful travel experience this week, be sure to thank Democrats like @RepMarcyKaptur."

On October 10, 2025, Williams shared news about his campaign for Congress. He announced an endorsement from a fellow Ohio lawmaker: "I’m honored to earn the endorsement of State Senator Louis Blessing III.
