On September 10, 2025, Rep. Gross addressed the death of Charlie Kirk with a call for compassion towards his family and condemnation of violence: "Please pray for Charlie's wife and children. The murder of innocent people is reprehensible. Anyone who promotes violence does not serve goodness. They serve evil. It's a very sad day in the USA."
Three days later, on September 13, 2025, she offered public prayers for Erika Kirk and referenced her first public comments following her husband's assassination: "Praying for Erika Kirk. Here she speaks publicly for first time since husband Charlie Kirk's assassination | Fox News."
That same day, Rep. Gross highlighted her participation in a political event supporting Congressman Warren Davidson alongside Bikers for Trump: "Bikers for Trump - Boots on the ground and @WarrenDavidson are a winning team! It was a great night to support the best congressman in Ohio!"
Charlie Kirk was known as a conservative activist and commentator before his death. His passing has led to public reactions from various officials and figures across the country.
