Rep. Gary Click, a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, published several statements on his social media account in mid-September 2025, addressing political discourse, journalistic integrity, and the influence of public figures.

On September 12, 2025, Click commended leaders across the political spectrum for their conduct during a period he described as requiring restraint. He stated, "I applaud leaders on all sides of the political spectrum for sensible thoughts in a time that requires decency and de-escalation rather than ramping up the vitriol. I also applaud Roger Lapointe for his journalistic integrity. @fremontNM"

Later that night, on September 13, 2025, Click referenced conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s impact by writing, "Like a seed planted in the ground @charliekirk11’s influence is already springing up onto a movement far greater than in his life and will be a force multiplier that his enemies could have ever imagined. John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall".

Shortly after this post, Click posed a rhetorical question about moral equivalence and life-saving measures. On September 13, 2025 he wrote: "You should ask 'How many lives will be saved?' There is no moral equivalence here."

Rep. Gary Click has served as an Ohio state legislator since January 2021. His public statements often reflect positions on faith-based issues and conservative values.
