Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative priorities and ongoing policy discussions.

On September 7, 2025, Carey posted about tax relief for workers: ".@HouseGOP working family tax cuts = no tax on tips = more money in workers' pockets."

The following day, on September 8, 2025, he addressed public safety issues in Washington, D.C., stating: "Before President Trump took action, crime in Washington, D.C. was all too common for residents and the people who work there. Now, that's changing. More from me on @SpectrumNews1OH: https://t.co/pEFNLk4ZWk"

On September 9, 2025, Carey discussed support for caregivers through bipartisan legislation: "Taking care of a sick or aging loved one takes an emotional and financial toll on caregivers. My bipartisan Credit for Caring Act helps relieve some of the financial burden on caregivers so they can stay in the workforce while caring for a loved one."

Carey has served as the congressional representative for Ohio’s 15th District since 2021 after succeeding Steve Stivers. He was born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently resides in Columbus. Carey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in 1993.
