U.S. Representative Joyce Beatty, who represents Ohio’s 3rd district in Congress, recently addressed several key issues and events through her social media posts, including concerns about Social Security staffing cuts, recognition from the NAACP Ohio chapter, and Women’s Equality Day.

Joyce Beatty has served as U.S. Representative for Ohio's 3rd District since 2013 and previously held office in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008. She was born in Dayton in 1950 and resides in Columbus. Beatty earned her BA from Central State University in 1972.
