Rep. Gary Click, a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, recently posted a series of tweets addressing his concerns about library programming for children and his participation in conservative leadership events.

On July 23, 2025, Rep. Click criticized libraries for the information they provide to young people: "Not only are the libraries answering questions that kids are not asking they are giving them the WRONG answers. They are telling them that boys can have vaginas and girls can have penises. That is another reason I have taken to calling them LIEbraries."

The following day, July 24, 2025, Rep. Click shared his experience engaging with participants at a conservative training event: "I had a great time engaging with young conservatives at the @ForgeLeadership training this morning. These young people are sharp and committed. They asked the best questions. I am honored to have Janae Myers, a distinguished Forge alumnus, as my aide."

Later on July 24, Rep. Click commented on an interview involving Curtis and two organizations: "Disengenous for Curtis to say that he was 'hearing' both sides. It was more like two against one. Woke media and Woke Anti Civil Liberties Union v. a Common Sense Conservative protecting children from harm. Nevertheless TRUTH wins every time. Had a much more rational interview"

Rep. Gary Click has previously sponsored legislation related to educational content in Ohio public institutions and has been vocal about issues surrounding gender identity discussions in schools and libraries.
