U.S. Representative Joyce Beatty, who serves Ohio’s 3rd district, has recently shared a series of updates with her constituents on social media, focusing on legislative developments and community engagement.

On July 19, 2025, Beatty reached out to her followers to gather feedback from the district: "From rising costs to national headlines, 2025 is already a whirlwind. I’m checking in with constituents across our district—what’s top of mind for you? Take my short survey & share what matters: https://t.co/PaTJGoOfGk".

The following day, July 20, she promoted her newsletter and outlined recent activities both in Washington D.C. and within the community: "ICYMI: The Beatty Bulletin is out. It's packed with behind-the-scenes updates from DC and our community. Inside: Fighting Trump’s One Big Ugly Bill Social Security roundtable Community events Missed it? Most recently, on July 22, Beatty highlighted legislative progress in Congress by announcing bipartisan support for a bill she sponsored: "I took to the House floor to support my bipartisan OFAC Licensure for Investigators Act—and it passed UNANIMOUSLY. Joyce Beatty has represented Ohio’s 3rd District in Congress since 2013 after previously serving in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008. She was born in Dayton in 1950 and resides in Columbus at age 73. Her educational background includes graduating from Central State University with a BA in 1972.
