Rep. Joyce Beatty, a congresswoman representing Ohio’s 3rd district, recently shared several updates through her social media platform. These posts align with her ongoing efforts in financial literacy and criticism of current financial policies.

On April 2, 2025, Rep. Beatty highlighted an event hosted by the Financial Literacy and Wealth Creation Caucus, which she co-chairs. The event marked the start of Financial Literacy Month with a tax preparedness briefing. According to her tweet, Beatty expressed gratitude towards panelists from various organizations such as the American Savings Education Council, Chime, AARP Foundation, H&R Block, and the Center for Taxpayer Rights.

Later on April 2, Beatty addressed her concerns regarding financial fraud and regulatory changes. In her tweet, she stated, "While fraudsters are scamming hardworking Americans out of billions of dollars, the Trump Administration is unlawfully dismantling critical protections to stop financial crime." She assured that "FSC Democrats aren't standing for it," underscoring her commitment to financial accountability.

On April 3, she provided guidance on managing debt responsibly. As noted in her tweet, Beatty advised caution when taking on debt, emphasizing awareness of interest rates and comparing loans to ensure sound financial decisions, using the hashtag #FLM2025.
