Today marks Valentine's Day, a widely recognized occasion often associated with expressions of love and affection. The origins of this day trace back to a Christian feast honoring Saint Valentine, which has since evolved into a global celebration of love.

Master Coach Marilou Butcher Roth reflects on the significance of this day, posing the question: "What does this day mean to you?" She acknowledges that for some, Valentine's Day is a significant event, while for others it may pass without much notice.

Roth encourages a shift in perspective, suggesting that every day could be an opportunity to celebrate love—not only towards others but also towards oneself. She emphasizes the importance of self-love and proposes extending the spirit of Valentine's Day throughout the year. "My plan for this year," she shares, "is to first, find new ways to strengthen how I feel about myself, and secondly to extend Valentines Day to the rest of the year."

Roth invites others to join her in this endeavor, highlighting that expressing love regularly can be more meaningful than confining it to one day. While gifts are optional, she wishes everyone a "Happy Valentines Year!"
