Young Kim receives Ohio Realtors Distinguished Service Award

Ohio REALTORS awarded its 2024 "Distinguished Service Award" to Young Kim of Dayton REALTORS.

The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) was created to honor individuals who have dedicated 25 years or more of active involvement in the local, state, and national associations of REALTORS, including participation in the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC).

Her involvement in the REALTOR organization is as follows:

At the Greater Dayton Realists Association: 2024-Present; Better Business Bureau Dayton Member: 2014-Present; Dayton Home Builder’s Association Member: 2010-Present; Women’s Council of REALTORS Member: 2002-Present; and the Real Estate Business Institute Member: 2002-Present.

At the Dayton REALTORS, Kim’s involvement has centered around professional standards, legislative, professional development, and global alliance committee work.

For Ohio REALTORS, she is a current director and is currently on the Scholarship, Professional Standards, and Multiple Listing committees.

At the National level, Kim was awarded REALTOR Emeritus status in 2019 and has been involved in the Multiple Listing Service, Diversity, and Public Policy areas.

Civically, Kim is an IKEBANA International Dayton Chapter Member (2022-2024), and a Flower Arrangement Member (2020-Present). She is also involved with Habitat for Humanity, the Incarnation Church, and a Dayton Performing Arts Opera & Loft Theater Subscriber/Supporter.

The Ohio REALTORS, with more than 36,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
