Pete Kopf receives lifetime achievement award from ohio realtors

REALTOR Pete Kopf of Cincinnati was honored with the Ohio REALTORS 2024 Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award at the Ohio REALTORS Convention, held September 9-11 in Columbus, Ohio. The Vincent T. Aveni Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Ohio REALTORS Past Presidents who continue to provide exemplary service to the organization. Aveni served as President of the organization in 1980, and the award was created after his passing in 2006.

The award, created by the Ohio REALTORS Past Presidents Committee, is bestowed upon a Past President who has demonstrated a continued commitment to the same values and passion for excellence that Aveni displayed throughout his life. Pete Kopf served as Ohio REALTORS President in 2017.

On the local level, Kopf served as President of the Cincinnati Area Board of REALTORS (CABR) in 2011. He served on numerous committees, including Budget & Finance, RPAC, Strategic Planning, Legislative, Emerging Issues, MLS Operations, YPN, and Professional Standards. He has been a Circle of Excellence member since 2000 and received the CABR REALTOR of the Year-Sales award in 2005. He has been a REALTOR since 1996 following graduation with a bachelor's degree in finance from Miami University's Farmer School of Business in 1995.

In addition to serving as Ohio REALTORS President, Kopf has been an Ohio REALTORS Director since 2007. He served on numerous Ohio REALTORS Committees including Legislative Steering, Local Government, Issues Mobilization, Strategic Planning, Nominating, Executive and Finance.

On the national level, Kopf served as director from 2010-11 and again from 2015-2019. He has participated on several committees such as the Business Issues Committee; Meetings & Conference Committee; RPAC Participation Chair; RPAC Trustees Fundraising Committee; RPAC Participation Council Past Chair; Code of Ethics President’s Advisory Group (PAG); and Communications Committee. In 2022 he served as NAR’s Vice President of Advocacy; in 2019 he was NAR Member Services Liaison.

Pete plays a significant role in supporting the industry by serving as NAR’s 2020 REALTOR Party director. He was part of the inaugural class of contributors to the Ohio RPAC Hall of Honor and was inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame in 2019. He is also a President's Circle Member contributing to RPAC at Crystal R Major Investor Level.

Kopf is actively involved civically within his community having created Cincinnati Golfers for Charity which raises money for local Greater Cincinnati Children’s charities. Additionally he holds active roles with organizations such as Arthritis Foundation Make-A-Wish and REALTORS with Heart.

Kopf resides with his wife Heather and their three children within Cincinnati's Hyde Park community.

“Pete has been a fixture in our industry playing an important role at every level of the REALTOR organization,” said Ohio REALTORS President Ali Whitley. “We are grateful for many contributions he has selflessly made and we are stronger because of him.”
