A shout out to FCSO Deputy Castle and K9 Zuul for getting their man! Deputies recently responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 23-hundred block of Valleyview Dr. The suspect had forced entry into the house and then began breaking things in the front yard. Patrol deputies arrived on the scene just in time to see the suspect running away down an alley. Deputies established a perimeter and K9 Zuul located the suspect hiding behind bushes in a neighbor’s yard. Given the choice between an encounter with Zuul or surrendering, the suspect complied with all of the deputies’ commands and came out with his hands up. This was a great combination of police work, teamwork and utilizing tools available to the FCSO Patrol Division to protect the community and bring the incident to a peaceful resolution.
