On December 6, 2024, Rep. Beatty paid tribute to Tommy Pappas of Tommy's Diner in Columbus by taking to the House floor. She expressed her condolences over his passing and recognized his positive impact on the community: "Today, I took to the House floor to honor the incredible life and legacy of my dear friend, Tommy Pappas of the iconic @Tommysdiner in Columbus. Tommy’s passing is a loss for our community, but his warmth, kindness, and impact will never be forgotten."

On December 7, 2024, she extended her gratitude to Carrie Boston for her supportive letter regarding cancer advocacy. Beatty reaffirmed her commitment to supporting cancer patients and their families by co-sponsoring relevant legislation: "Thank you, Carrie Boston, for your thoughtful letter. I’ll keep fighting for cancer patients, survivors & families. Proud to co-sponsor the Uterine Cancer Study Act & honor American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network volunteers this fall."

Later that day on December 7th, Beatty commemorated those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor and acknowledged the lessons learned from history about global alliances: "We honor the lives lost at Pearl Harbor and the resilience of the survivors. The attack...taught us how global partnerships like NATO can bring stability and safety in a dynamic world—far more than isolation ever could."
