Columbus median home prices rose by 21% in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Columbus rose by $42,500 while total sales increased by 324.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 692 homes sold, with a median sale price of $244,500 - a 21 percent increase over the $202,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 163 homes sold in Columbus in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.1 percent of the median home sale price for April.
