Franklin County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Mar 17.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! If you plan to celebrate, please be like Corrections K9 Carmen and wait at the curb for a sober designated driver to take you safely home. In 2019 alone, 57-people were killed in drunk driving crashes over the St. Patrick’s Day period nationwide.
The FCSO deputies will be working hard to make sure everyone gets home safe and sound.
