The Ohio REALTORS Global Business Alliance has received the 2024 Platinum Council designation from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). This honor was announced at the NAR NXT, The REALTOR Experience 2024, which took place from November 7 to 10 in Boston, Massachusetts.

The award acknowledges the alliance's significant progress in global real estate and its role as a leader in international property transactions. A selection committee from NAR noted that Ohio REALTORS® is "making a tremendous effort" and has shown "exemplary progress with its 2024 goals."

Under the leadership of Chair Tammy Murphy and Vice Chair Gloria Cannon, the alliance has surpassed expectations by promoting Ohio's presence on the global stage. The dedication of its members is reflected in this recognition, indicating potential for future accomplishments.

NAR commended Ohio REALTORS® for their "award-winning global outreach, education, and awareness." The alliance plans to build on this success in 2025 by expanding initiatives and supporting members in the global marketplace.

The Global Business Alliance Committee aims to establish Ohio REALTORS® as a leader in international real estate through partnerships with organizations in countries such as Japan and Finland. The focus is on providing resources and opportunities for members involved in international property transactions.

Those interested in enhancing their expertise in global real estate are encouraged to join the team. Membership offers networking opportunities worldwide and contributes to Ohio’s influence in international markets. Additionally, earning a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation can enhance skills for serving international clients.
