Columbus median home prices rose by 15.9% in January 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2022 in Columbus rose by $27,500 while total sales decreased by 10.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2022, there were 492 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,500 - a 15.9% increase over the $173,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 551 homes sold in Columbus in January 2021.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for January 2022.
