Median home prices in Columbus rose to $215,000 in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Columbus rose by $44,050 while total sales increased by 38%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 6,364 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 25.8% increase over the $170,950 median sale price for the previous year. There were 4,610 homes sold in Columbus in 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for 2021.
