Rising home prices in Columbus in August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Columbus rose by $49,000 while total sales increased by 73.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 645 homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,000 - a 25.8% increase over the $190,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 372 homes sold in Columbus in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
