Home prices increased in Columbus during July 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2020 in Columbus rose by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 53.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2020, there were 436 homes sold, with a median sale price of $182,000 - a 10.3% increase over the $165,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 930 homes sold in Columbus in July 2019.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for July 2020.
