Rising home prices in Columbus in December 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2020 in Columbus rose by $34,920 while total sales decreased by 13.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2020, there were 626 homes sold, with a median sale price of $193,420 - a 22% increase over the $158,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 727 homes sold in Columbus in December 2019.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for December 2020.
