Pricing for the median home in Columbus increased during January 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2021 in Columbus rose by $32,000 while total sales decreased by 3.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2021, there were 551 homes sold, with a median sale price of $173,000 - a 22.7% increase over the $141,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 569 homes sold in Columbus in January 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,665, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for January 2021.
