The Ohio State University Marching Band delivered a halftime show inspired by the popular video game Minecraft during Saturday’s football game against Minnesota. The performance featured music from “A Minecraft Movie” as well as familiar themes from the game, including “Minecraft Main Theme/I Feel Alive,” “Steve’s Lava Chicken,” and “Zero to Hero.”
During the show, the band formed shapes on the field representing elements from Minecraft, such as the game's logo, a chicken, dueling swords, and blocks breaking apart. These formations transformed Ohio Stadium into a visual representation of the game's distinctive style.
In addition to the Minecraft-themed performance, the band also performed Script Ohio twice—once before kickoff and again at halftime. The students who dotted the "i" were Ryan Schoeff, a mechanical engineering major from Hilliard, Ohio, and Sydney Reeves, a music education major from Dublin, Ohio.
