Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates and personal reflections on his social media account on September 10, 2025.
In a post from that morning, Carey wrote, "Great to welcome members of the @OhioFarmBureau to my office in Washington this morning!" (September 10, 2025).
Later in the day, he addressed public safety efforts in Washington D.C., stating, "Since @POTUS tackled D.C. crime, there have been:
- 2,300+ criminals arrested.
- 220+ illegal guns seized.
- Missing children rescued.
Our nation's capital deserves to be safe and a bastion of freedom for the world, and that's now becoming a reality." (September 10, 2025).
In an additional post that evening, Carey offered support to a public figure: "Praying for Charlie Kirk and his family." (September 10, 2025).
Carey has represented Ohio’s 15th District since replacing Steve Stivers in 2021. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus at age 52, Carey is an alumnus of Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1993.
