On August 27, 2025, Williams commented on a violent incident at Annunciation Catholic School. He stated, "Pray for the victims at Annunciation Catholic School. What an unimaginable act of evil. No school in America should be a soft target for evil people trying to harm our kids."

Later that day, Williams announced receiving support from a local political figure. In his post he wrote, "Honored to have the endorsement of Patti Rockey, candidate for State House District 81 & Williams County Recorder. Patti has always stood up for Northwest Ohioans, & I’m proud to have her stand with us as we fight to flip OH-9!" On August 28, 2025, Williams expressed criticism toward Democratic responses following mass shootings. He posted: "Democrats respond to mass shooting by demonizing prayer and condemning law abiding gun owners while screaming about how we 'need to do something!' Their solution to bad people with guns is to disarm good people with guns. Here's an idea: Stop allowing schools to be soft targets."
