Representative Josh Williams, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing issues related to crime, immigration, and political discourse.

On August 21, 2025, Williams commented on crime in American cities. He stated, "It turns out that we don't have to live like this. Rampant crime could end in every American city right now the moment elected officials decide to prioritize law and order over coddling criminals."

Later that day, Williams addressed concerns about immigration policy. In his post he wrote, "55 million visas is simply an incomprehensible number and a betrayal of working Americans who are now forced to compete in the same job and housing market as millions of people who shouldn't be here."

On August 22, 2025, Williams discussed what he perceives as exclusionary attitudes within liberal circles towards Black individuals who do not align with certain social agendas. He said, "Liberals believe that if Black people don’t bow to their woke LGBTQ agenda, then we have no place in their society — that it’s fine to silence or exclude us. Well, I’ll throw their own slogan back at them: 'We won’t go back.'"

These comments reflect ongoing national debates about public safety policies in urban areas and the effects of immigration on labor and housing markets. Additionally, discussions regarding the intersectionality of race and LGBTQ issues continue to shape political conversations across party lines.
