Representative Josh Williams, a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, has recently made several public statements on social media addressing local community initiatives and political issues.
On August 13, 2025, Williams announced the opening of a new facility in South Toledo named after Danielle “Dani” Leedy. In his post, he stated: "Today we celebrated the opening of Dani’s Place in South Toledo named in honor of Danielle “Dani” Leedy. I was proud to advocate for nearly $1.7 million in funding for this facility & I am eager to see the profound impact it will make on Ohioans in our community who are facing" (August 13, 2025).
Later that evening, Williams commented on national immigration policy and criticized President Joe Biden and Representative Marcy Kaptur. He wrote: "Every town in Ohio became a border town when Joe Biden was President— and his self-described employee @Marcy_Kaptur is COMPLICIT in the invasion of our country. We can never allow this betrayal to happen again and that starts with finally retiring Marcy!" (August 14, 2025).
The following day, Williams expressed support for Vivek Ramaswamy's gubernatorial campaign by quoting: '"Hardship is something that happens to you. Victimhood is a choice." Proud to support @VivekGRamaswamy to be Ohio's next Governor!' (August 14, 2025).
Williams has been active in advocating for local funding initiatives and participating in statewide political discourse as part of his role representing northwest Ohio communities.
