State Rep. Gary Click | The Ohio House of Representatives

Rep. Gary Click, a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, has recently posted several messages on his social media account addressing political endorsements, tax policy, and legislative developments.

On August 11, 2025, Rep. Click publicly endorsed a colleague for office in Ohio’s 9th district. In his post, he wrote: "I am happy to support my colleague and friend. @JoshWilliamsOH will be a breath of fresh air in Ohio’s 9th district. We are tired of the dull, dreary droning that has left us in last place. We are ready for a young fighter who knows how to get the job done. Josh is the voice of https://t.co/nWK5FF1BZy".

In another post dated August 13, 2025, Rep. Click raised questions about local tax policies and their long-term impact on future generations: "Continuing levies go on and on in perpetuity. Do you believe each generation should have a chance to vote on the taxes they pay or can one generation impose taxes on the next? Should every levy have a time limit with the opportunity to be renewed or discontinued?"

Later that same day, Rep. Click commented on recent judicial decisions related to legislative measures concerning gender-affirming care for minors: "A revival of common sense is sweeping through our courts setting precedent after precedent. I’m grateful for the leadership of legislators like ⁦@RobinLundstrum⁩ who paved the way for Ohio’s #SAFEAct #HB68. I expect another victory in Ohio soon! https://t.co/phluY9dgC2"

The SAFE Act (House Bill 68) referenced by Rep. Click seeks to restrict certain medical treatments related to gender transition for minors in Ohio—an issue that has been debated across multiple states and subject to ongoing legal challenges.

Rep. Gary Click represents portions of northern Ohio and has been active in legislative debates concerning education policy and health care regulations.
