Mike Carey highlights water safety grant and local events in recent posts

Congressman Mike Carey, who represents Ohio’s 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his activities and local initiatives through a series of posts on social media.

On August 1, 2025, Carey announced a new development for Central Ohio: "Earlier this week, I secured a grant to support research that will help Central Ohio keep dangerous PFAS chemicals out of our water supply. Read more about it here: https://t.co/2GrM0iJOFw".

The following day, he posted about attending a community event: "Great to be in Dublin yesterday to celebrate the Irish Festival! https://t.co/T6Imq4sIzv" (August 2, 2025).

Mike Carey has served as the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 15th District since replacing Steve Stivers in 2021. He was born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently resides in Columbus. Carey graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993.
