Josh Williams | The Ohio House of Representatives
Representative Josh Williams, who represents Ohio's 41st House District, has recently posted several updates on his social media account regarding local events, public safety, and campaign developments.
On July 30, 2025, despite recovering from surgery, Williams wrote: "Even a few days out of shoulder surgery, I made sure to stop by the Wood County Fair and visit the @WoodCoGOPParty booth. Recovery can wait—fighting for our values and listening to constituents never does. https://t.co/y7FeXT34ON"
The following day, he criticized Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval’s leadership after a violent incident in the city. On July 31, Williams posted: "Democrat Mayor @AftabPureval has failed the people of Cincinnati - again.
Last weekend’s brutal assault is the latest example of what happens when weak leaders let violent criminals walk free.
Law-abiding citizens suffer because Democrats refuse to enforce the law."
Later on July 31, Williams announced an addition to his campaign staff. He stated: "I’m excited to welcome Meg Deneen to my team as campaign manager!
We’ve put together an all-star team to retire Marcy Kaptur and send real, conservative leadership to Washington! https://t.co/0CvOuMtBgy"
Williams has served in Ohio’s House since January 2023 and has positioned himself as a vocal critic of Democratic policies at both local and federal levels. In his recent posts, he emphasized continued engagement with constituents even during personal recovery and highlighted public safety concerns in major Ohio cities.
Marcy Kaptur is a longtime Democratic member of Congress representing Ohio’s 9th congressional district.
