Representative Josh Williams, a Black conservative lawmaker, has recently made several statements on social media regarding race, politics, and his support for former President Donald Trump. His posts address both personal perspectives and national issues, highlighting his stance on current political discourse.
On July 10, 2025, Williams addressed accusations of racism against former President Trump. In his post he stated: "I’m a black man. President Trump is the farthest thing from racist. Rep. The following day, July 11, 2025, Williams commented on an incident involving federal agents and children found at illegal marijuana farms. He wrote: "Federal agents were violently attacked for rescuing illegal alien children from pot farms. This is a new low for the Democrats."
On July 12, 2025, Williams reflected on his early support for Donald Trump prior to entering politics. He shared: "Long before I entered politics, I welcomed President Trump to Toledo. As a Black conservative, I supported him before it was popular—because I believed in his vision to Make America Great Again."
Representative Josh Williams is currently serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives and is known for his outspoken conservative views.
