Representative Josh Williams has recently expressed strong opinions on social media regarding various political figures and policies. His posts have highlighted his concerns over the treatment of law enforcement agencies, immigration policies, and tax issues.

On July 7, 2025, Representative Williams claimed that "ICE and our police are under attack with a 700% surge in assaults." He criticized Democrats for allegedly inciting violence by not denouncing these assaults and cited Representative Pramila Jayapal as having called ICE obstruction "inspiring." Williams stated, "If they fuel this chaos, they’re complicit in the violence!"

Later on the same day, he addressed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass's approach to immigration enforcement. According to Williams, Mayor Bass prioritizes "illegal aliens over the safety of Americans" by obstructing ICE operations. He suggested that she should instead support ICE efforts and concluded his post with "The Mayor should be ashamed."

On July 8, 2025, Williams directed criticism at Democrats like Marcy Kaptur for their stance on taxes and healthcare policy. He accused them of preferring to raise taxes on the working class rather than allowing President Trump to succeed with what he referred to as the "One Big Beautiful Bill." In his view, Kaptur's opposition stems from personal animosity towards Trump rather than concern for her constituents. Williams asserted that "Northwest Ohio deserves better than that."
