Representative Josh Williams, an active member of the Ohio legislature, has expressed his views on several pressing issues via social media. Through a series of tweets, Williams addresses concerns about property tax reforms, educational policies, and political representation in Congress.

On July 2, 2025, Representative Josh Williams criticized Governor DeWine's decision to veto property tax reforms. He stated that "DeWine’s veto of our property tax reforms ignores the will of Ohioans and disrespects the hard work of the legislature." He emphasized his intention to participate in a special session to override this veto.

Later on the same day, Williams shared his thoughts on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in education. In his view, "DEI in education isn’t about fairness; it’s about forcing outcomes." He advocates for empowering students with critical thinking skills instead of teaching them critical race theory.

On July 3, 2025, Williams targeted Marcy Kaptur regarding her performance as a representative for Northwest Ohio. He asserted that "Marcy Kaptur has been sleeping on the job for longer than I’ve been alive." According to him, Northwest Ohio requires more effective representation rather than someone who supports substantial tax increases.
