Congressman Mike Carey, representing Ohio's 15th district since 2021, recently shared insights and reflections on various topics through a series of tweets. Carey's communications touch upon his meetings with business representatives, historical commemorations, and legislative efforts by the House GOP.

On June 5, 2025, Congressman Carey tweeted about his meeting with representatives from the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). He discussed initiatives aimed at supporting women-owned businesses. "Just got the opportunity to meet with representatives from the @NAWBONational to discuss how we are helping women-owned businesses thrive," he stated, expressing gratitude for their visit.

The following day, June 6, 2025, Carey commemorated the anniversary of D-Day. Reflecting on the historic event in Normandy during World War II, he wrote: "On the morning of June 6th, 1944, soldiers of the Allied Expeditionary Force embarked on what General Eisenhower called 'a great crusade' into immense danger in Normandy to liberate Europe from tyranny." He emphasized that their bravery and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Later that same day, Carey commented on economic policies led by the House GOP. Highlighting efforts to avoid tax increases and stimulate growth, he stated: ".@HouseGOP is getting our economy back on track. We are preventing the largest tax increase on working families in our nation's history and delivering more growth and higher wages."

Congressman Mike Carey has been serving in Congress since replacing Steve Stivers in 2021. Born in Sabina, Ohio in 1971 and currently residing in Columbus, Carey graduated from Ohio State University with a BA in 1993.
