Rep. Joyce Beatty, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 3rd district, shared a series of reflections and messages on social media over the past few days. Her posts highlighted significant community engagements and historical milestones while also extending personal sentiments to national figures.

On May 17, 2025, Beatty expressed her gratitude for being recognized by the King Arts Complex at their 38th Anniversary Gala. She noted her appreciation for the "artists, neighbors, and changemakers" who inspire her daily and acknowledged the role of the King Arts Complex in promoting art, culture, and education within the community. "Humbled to be honored by the King Arts Complex at their 38th Anniversary Gala."

Later that day, Beatty commemorated a pivotal moment in American history—the Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education. She reminded followers of its significance by stating that it "changed the course of American history" and emphasized the ongoing struggle for equal education amidst current challenges to Black history education in schools. "71 years ago today, the Supreme Court declared that separate is NOT equal."

On May 18, 2025, Beatty conveyed her support for President Joe Biden as he faced a health challenge. She expressed admiration for his resilience and strength while offering prayers for his recovery during this difficult time. "President @JoeBiden your resilience and strength have always inspired us."
