On April 23, 2025, Beatty tweeted about the challenges many Americans face in maintaining wellness due to financial constraints. She urged followers to take advantage of Financial Literacy Month to gain better control of their finances, stating, "Americans struggling to make ends meet don’t have time to keep up with doctor’s visits, exercise, or other wellness activities. This Financial Literacy Month, take control of your finances to start building a healthier future. #FLM2025".

A subsequent post on April 24, 2025, Beatty addressed the popularity and risks associated with Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) apps. She advised caution and careful consideration of the terms before utilizing these financial tools, warning, "Thinking of using a Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) app? While these plans are convenient, they may also come with hidden risks. Before clicking 'Buy,' make sure you understand the terms, payment schedule, and potential interest rates. Smart spending starts with informed decisions!".

Later that day, Beatty acknowledged National Minority Health Month, emphasizing her commitment to reducing health disparities through legislative efforts. She tweeted, "April marks National Minority Health Month—a time to reaffirm our commitment to closing racial health gaps across the country. In Congress, I'll continue to fight for policies that make equity the standard and promote culturally competent care. #NationalMinorityHealthMonth".

Born in Dayton, Ohio in 1950, she currently resides in Columbus and is a proud graduate of Central State University, class of 1972.
