Rep. Joyce Beatty, representing Ohio's 3rd District in the U.S. Congress, shared recent activities she participated in on her social media platform. Beatty has served in this role since 2013 after replacing former representative Mike Turner. Prior to her congressional service, she was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2008.

On April 11, 2025, Beatty expressed her enthusiasm for hosting Georgetown McCourt School students at Capitol Hill. She organized a special study session featuring representatives Stacey Plaskett and Jim Clyburn. The focus of the session was to discuss the current political landscape and the measures legislators are undertaking to effect change. The message highlights her dedication to engaging with future leaders and facilitating their understanding of political processes. "Earlier this week, I was thrilled to host Georgetown McCourt School students on Capitol Hill for a special study session featuring Rep. Stacey Plaskett and Rep. Jim Clyburn to discuss the current political landscape, and how legislators are working to make a difference."

The following day, Beatty addressed the issue of Social Security benefits in a conversation with seniors at Jenkins Terrace. Her discussion emphasized the importance of these benefits, citing her stance against redirecting funds from Social Security to provide tax breaks for billionaires. Beatty underscored her commitment to protecting the earnings of hardworking individuals. On April 12, 2025, she stated, "Today, I spoke with seniors at Jenkins Terrace to discuss their hard-earned Social Security benefits — they deserve to retire with dignity, not watch their benefits get cut to fund billionaire tax breaks. I’m fighting to protect what they’ve earned, and I’m grateful to stand with young people and older generations alike."

On another note, Beatty extended warm wishes for Passover to those who celebrate, emphasizing themes of peace, renewal, and resilience that resonate throughout the holiday. On April 12, 2025, she wrote, "Wishing all who celebrate a joyful Passover. As families gather to reflect on the journey to freedom and resilience, may this season bring peace, renewal, and light."
