Rep. Joyce Beatty, a U.S. Congress member representing Ohio's 3rd district, made a series of announcements highlighting women's achievements and financial literacy. Beatty, who has been serving since 2013, used her platform to draw attention to various issues through her social media posts.

On March 31, 2025, Beatty paid tribute to Gayle Saunders, the Founder and CEO of The Saunders Group, detailing her accomplishments in the public relations and communications sectors. Beatty expressed her admiration by stating: "Before Women’s History Month ends, I wanted to spotlight Gayle Saunders, Founder and CEO of The Saunders Group based out of Columbus. Gayle is changing the game and forging new pathways for women in public relations and communications. Way to go, Gayle!".

The following day, on April 1, 2025, Beatty highlighted the importance of financial literacy. As Co-Chair of the Financial Literacy & Wealth Creation Caucus, she emphasized her dedication to equipping American families with essential financial skills. Beatty stated: "April is Financial Literacy Month! As Co-Chair of the Financial Literacy & Wealth Creation Caucus, I'm dedicated to helping American families gain the skills they need to plan for the future and build lasting wealth. Follow along this month for valuable facts, tips, and insights".

Later that day, Beatty declared her opposition to the Republican Higher Bank Fees Act, indicating her support for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's overdraft rule, which she claims will save consumers $5 billion annually. She expressed her concerns, stating: "The CFPB’s overdraft rule will save consumers $5 billion a year. That’s why I’m voting AGAINST the Republican Higher Bank Fees Act, which will make big banks richer at the expense of working class Americans. #SayNoToOverdraftFees".
