On Friday, March 21, former Beechcroft High School standout Amani Lyles’ current collegiate team the Akron Zips lost 93-65 against the Arizona Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Climate Pledge Arena, this was the first game against the Arizona Wildcats during the championship.

Amani Lyles’ hometown is Columbus and game position is forward.
