Members of Ohio REALTORS have been alerted to a scam email offering a fake attendee list for the upcoming Ohio REALTORS Conference 2025 in Columbus. The email, purportedly from a "Business Executive" named Erin, offers to sell a list of over 1,000 attendees.

Ohio REALTORS has confirmed that this offer is fraudulent. The organization stated that it does not sell or distribute attendee lists in such a manner. Members are advised to be cautious and look out for signs of the scam.

The unsolicited email uses generic greetings and comes from an unknown sender who does not represent Ohio REALTORS. Event organizers emphasize that legitimate attendee lists are never sold through random email solicitations. The aim of the scam is likely to steal money or personal information.

Members are urged not to reply or engage with the sender, delete the email immediately, and report it to Ohio REALTORS and their IT department.

The organization advises members to stay vigilant and verify any offers with official event organizers before making payments.
