Rep. Joyce Beatty, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 3rd district since 2013, has shared her thoughts on various political issues through a series of tweets in February 2025.

On February 17, Beatty reflected on President's Day by recalling the historical support for USAID since its founding by President Kennedy. She expressed concern over what she perceives as current efforts to dismantle it under President Trump’s administration, highlighting that foreign assistance constitutes less than 1% of federal spending and benefits U.S. jobs, including those in Ohio. "This President’s Day, I’m reminded that while past presidents have supported USAID since President Kennedy founded it, President Trump is letting Elon Musk dismantle it."

On February 20, Rep. Beatty thanked the Columbus Metropolitan Club and Karen Kasler for hosting a discussion about the impact of President Trump's executive orders on Ohioans and all Americans. She emphasized the ongoing legal and congressional battles being fought by House Democrats against these orders but stressed the need for public support in these efforts. "Thank you, @cbusmetroclub and @karenkasler for hosting and moderating today’s critical conversation on President Trump’s executive orders and their impact on Ohioans and ALL Americans."

Later that day, she expressed gratitude towards the U.S. House Financial Services Committee for recognizing Black Americans' contributions to national history during Black History Month. She asserted that Black history is an integral part of American history every day of the year. "Thank you, @USHouseFSC, for honoring the contributions of Black Americans to our nation's history and prosperity!"
