Rep. Joyce Beatty, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 3rd district since 2013, recently expressed her views on several significant topics through social media posts.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Beatty raised concerns about President Trump's actions regarding USAID's efforts globally. She stated, "USAID provides critical support upholding democracies around the world and alleviating immense suffering in times of crisis. Now, President Trump is undermining that work by sending billionaire Musk to raid our personal and classified info to enact his bidding?"

On February 4, 2025, she commemorated Rosa Parks' birthday by highlighting her influence on the Civil Rights Movement. Rep. Beatty wrote, "Today, on her 112th birthday, we honor the life and legacy of Ms. Rosa Parks. Her unwavering courage ignited the Civil Rights Movement, inspiring generations to mobilize their communities and fight for justice." She emphasized that despite challenges to diversity and inclusion initiatives (DEI), Parks' legacy remains a reminder of ongoing efforts for justice.

In another post on the same day, Rep. Beatty thanked Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for recognizing an important figure in American civil rights history with a brief note: "Thank you, @wmata for honoring this American Civil Rights Icon!"
