She wrote: "I am saddened to hear about the tragic plane-helicopter crash that occurred last night over the Potomac River. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of all who were affected during this difficult time."
Later that day, Beatty addressed further details surrounding the incident, highlighting leadership concerns. She stated: "My heart goes out to the families of the 67 lives lost in the devastating plane crash. As families are grieving, President Trump fails to offer leadership, solutions, and actual consoling. He’s blaming DEI even after he abruptly fired talented key air safety officials."
