Representative Mike Carey attended the grand opening of a new water management facility in Hilliard, Ohio. The event marked the launch of Advanced Drainage Systems' 110,000 square-foot office, warehouse, and laboratory situated on 17 acres. This development is expected to create 200 jobs for local residents.

Congressman Carey commented on the occasion: “Advanced Drainage Systems has been an industry leader and an Ohio institution for over fifty years. We are excited to see this great investment in the Hilliard community, and we will continue our work in Congress to make manufacturing here at home an easy choice.”

The facility will house various labs, including one for product development to prepare samples for testing, a fabrication lab for prototype development, a lab dedicated to analyzing structural performance of prototypes, and a 3-D printing lab.

This $65 million project by Advanced Drainage Systems adds to recent investments in Ohio’s Fifteenth District by companies such as Google and Honda.
