To kick off the 2024 football season, The Ohio State University Marching Band performed music by Earth, Wind & Fire at the Buckeyes’ home game against the University of Akron.

The halftime show featured Archie Griffin, Ohio State legend and two-time Heisman Trophy winner. Griffin dotted the i, joining a select group of individuals who have done so without being TBDBITL members – including Bob Hope and Annie and John Glenn.

The band played “Beijo,” “Let’s Groove,” “Got to Get You Into My Life,” “Shining Star,” “September” and “Boogie Wonderland” while creating formations that included Earth, Wind & Fire’s logo and dancers.

During the band’s pregame performance, TBDBITL member Brody Hyre, a music education graduate, dotted the i.
