WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, in response to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Chevron deference with their ruling on Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, Congressman Mike Carey (OH-15) released the following statement:

“The administrative state cannot—and should not—be trusted to set their own powers. For decades, regulators and bureaucrats have been empowered to legislate without earning a single vote. That ends today. Today’s decision is a victory for the Constitution and the American people.”
