Of the 1,313,598 citizens living in Franklin County in 2021, 76.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,005,778 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 487,802 were male, constituting 48.5%, and 517,976 were female, making up 51.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Franklin County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.7%.
