Firefighters for Kids Toy and Food Drop-off through December 24

Help families in need this holiday season by donating toys and gifts to the Firefighters for Kids drive and food to benefit the Worthington Resource Pantry. The drive-thru drop-off for toys, gifts and food is Saturday, December 10 from 8am to 3pm at the Worthington Fire Department, 6500 N. High Street.  Residents who cannot drop off their donations during the drive-thru event can drop off donations anytime before December 24th at the Worthington Fire Department. For more information, call the Worthington Division of Fire at 614-885-7640.  For information on critically needed items or if your family is in need of assistance call the City of Columbus Call Center at 3-1-1 or visit 311.columbus.gov.

Toy and gift donations

Toys and gift cards are needed for children of all ages and should be new and unwrapped. There is a particular need for gifts for teenage boys and girls. Cash or check donations are also welcomed. The gifts will be distributed to central Ohio area children who might otherwise go without this holiday season. Cash donations can be made at any CME Credit Union location or online

Food, Toiletries and Winter Clothing Donations

Worthington Police are teaming up to help people in need this holiday season with the Holiday Health & Happiness Drive. In addition to collecting canned and dry goods to benefit the Worthington Resource Pantry, you can also donate toys, games, coats and winter wear, and toiletry items. All donations can be dropped off during the drive-thru event on December 10th or anytime 24/7 at the Worthington Police Department or Fire Department. A list of needed food items can be found online at worthingtonresourcepantry.org
